Key Person System

As part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2014, all children will have a key person assigned to them, which allows your child to build a familiar and trusting relationship with a member of pre-school staff who will support and help them to develop throughout their time at pre-school. Where possible, we also try to assign the same key person to any future siblings who attend the pre-school.

All staff are appointed by the management committee and will have completed or are undertaking the relevant recognised statutory training courses as laid down by the 2006 Children’s Act. All staff have training in Paediatric First Aid.

Gina Prescott

Hi, I’m Gina Prescott, the Pre-School Leader. I spent 14 years working at Holy Apostles’ CE Primary School before joining the Pre-School. Through my work at the School as the Reception Class teacher, I have known and worked alongside the Pre-School staff for years, and it is very exciting to now be joining the team.

I am passionate about the Early Years and using the Outdoor Environment to support children in their development, not just physically, but in all aspect of learning. I enjoy helping and supporting children to be the best version of themselves and to develop a lifelong love of learning. Most of all, I love to watch them grow into confident children who want to try new things and take on new experiences.
